Keep on Truckin' 2010
Mid-America Science Museum
Children of all ages have a chance to explore full-size fire trucks, police cars, construction equipment, and a variety of other vehicles in a family festival atmosphere. Don't miss this opportunity to get up close with some major machinery and enjoy hands-on activities in a safe environment, while supporting the Museum. Admission to this fundraiser is $5 per person (all ages), and the first 100 kids will receive a free event t-shirt. All proceeds benefit exhibits and programs at MASM. Your admission to Keep on Truckin' also entitles you to a discounted admission to the Museum (good for this Saturday only). Keep On Truckin' will occupy MASM's parking lot, so please park in National Park Community College's lot on Mid America Boulevard. A shuttle will run between their lot and the event at MASM.

Scientists are working to understand this phenomenon and how it applies to our lives. In this exhibit you will see what a billion (and one-billionth) of something looks like. You can manipulate the size of a quantum dot to see its strange changing properties. You will also watch as floating molecules move themselves into an orderly pattern. These are just some of the amazing facts you will learn about nanotechnology.
