The Mystery of the Medallion
is opening in Texarkana at Discovery Place Children's Museum on May 17. In this exhibit, Student Archeologists must uncover the mystery of an ancient Mayan dig site and find the priceless treasure, revealing the mystery!

Grossology

Also on May 17 in Hot Springs at Mid-America Science Museum, you can learn the stinky, smelly, disgusting facts about your body at the wildly popular Grossology exhibit!



The Race for Planet "X" Completes First School Year

Our mobile museum, The Race for Planet "X", completed it's first school year in Arkansas with a visit to Vilonia Middle School on May 14, 2008.

This year The Race for Planet "X" visited more than 30 schools in all corners of the state, reaching more than 4,200 sixth graders. Next year we hope to reach even more!

The Arkansas Museum of Natural Resources in Smackover is preparing for this year's Chautauqua season. The Natural State Chautauqua 2008, "The 1930s: Shaken Dreams," brings historical figures to center stage.
