Grossology and Mayan Medallion Exhibits Moving in September

GrossologyArkansas State University MuseumThis exhibit is based on the children’s best-selling book, Grossology by Sylvia Branzei. It explores all the slimy, mushy, oozy, scaly and stinky gross (yet scientific) things that occur everyday in the human body. Kids love the “gross stuff” and parents like the scientific explanations. Grossology will be at the ASU Museum September 16, 2008 to January 4, 2009. Come enjoy the Members-Only Gala on September 13 (for ASU Museum membership information, call Jill Kary at 870-972-2074). Sharp is presenting sponsor of Grossology at ASU Museum; the exhibit is also sponsored by Niche, KAIT8, Chick-fil-A, and Occasions Publishing Group, along with statewide sponsor, Arkansas Children's Hospital.

You can see Grossology at Mid-America Science Museum in Hot Springs until September 7Mystery of the Mayan Medallion.

Our Body: The Universe Within
and Grossology

Mid-America Science Museum, Hot Springs
Here for Limited Engagement
Our Body: The Universe Within literally goes "under the skin" to reveal the mysteries of the human anatomy through a riveting presentation of fascinating and ACTUAL human specimens. The exhibit features bodies and anatomical displays preserved to expose the inner workings of the human anatomy. At Grossology, you will learn everything you always wanted to know about your body, but were too polite to ask. Grossology is sponsored statewide by Arkansas Children's Hospital.

To see what else is going on at our partner sites across the state, see our Events page.

The mission of the Network is to bring world-class educational experiences to the children and families of Arkansas. A generous grant of $7.3 million from the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation initiated the Network and made the programs possible.
