Arkansas State University Museum's Kids' Quest Event Attracts Crowd of 300!

ASUM held their Kids' Quest and Cultural Diversity event Friday evening, November 2nd. The event was a stunning success with approximately 300 guests from throughout the Northeast Arkansas region and university communities. From scientists to schoolchildren, families came together and listened to live traditional music, ate custom-crafted Day of the Dead breads, drank Horchata and Mexican sodas, and made clay skeletons, masks, and flowers. Parents were heard to say, "My kids are having so much fun, I can't drag them away from the Museum." The collaboration between the ASU Museum and the Hispanic and Latino communities was so well received that Dia de los Muertos will become an annual event.
