Science & Art Exhibit Arrives in Arkansas!
This week we finally got to see our newest exhibit, Science & Art, when it arrived at the Museum of Discovery on Monday.
Science & Art shows how science and art work together to make our lives better and more interesting. Can you believe the picture on the left is made from a very small worm, C. elegans? Ahna Skop, one of the scientist/artists featured in this exhibit, thinks these worms are beautiful and proves it over and over through her artwork. Check out this video of a worm in action!
Science & Art will introduce you to Ahna and four scientists who have used both science and art in their work. Read all about this exhibit and the scientists here.
The Museum of Discovery is having a special premiere event May 5, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. FREE and open to the public. Live music, refreshments and children’s activities. RSVP recommended (501) 396-7050 ext. 210.
